About Me

I am an American mathematician working primarily in model theory, set theory, and algebra. My main focus is non-elementary model theory. I am particularly drawn to problems with a strong set theoretic component. I also have interests in computational geometric aspects of music information retrieval.

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Logic Group of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Helsinki, Finland, working with Jouko Väänänen, Tapani Hyttinen, and Meeri Kesälä.

During Fall Semester 2009, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Mittag-Leffler Institute, Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, taking part in the scientific program "Mathematical Logic: Set theory and model theory".

More information about my professional activities can be found on my CV and Publications pages.
